T-2C FLIGHT PROCEDURES
1.8.2. The student responds, "Clear." only after verifying all loose items are stowed. Once clear
of the runway, the student switches the UHF radio to Ground and requests taxi.
1.8.2.1. STUDENT "Ground, RKT 204, clear of the duty, taxi to my line."
1.8.2.2. GROUND "RKT 204, taxi to your line."
1.8.3. Additionally, once clear of the runway, the student and IP complete the Post Landing
Checklist.
1.8.3.1. STUDENT "Check idle stop, strobes, squawk and landing light."
1.8.3.2. IP "Roger."
1.8.4. While no further communication is required regarding the Post Landing Checklist, it is the
student's responsibility to ensure the IP complies with all items in this checklist. To allow the IP
sufficient time to complete this checklist, the student waits until the aircraft is in the line/hot
brake check area to challenge the IP on any Post Landing Checklist item not completed (i.e.
speedbrakes still extended, flaps down, trim not in-in-zero).
1.8.5. The IP initiates the reinstallation of the pins to safe the ejection seats.
1.8.5.1. IP "Installing pins."
1.8.5.2. STUDENT "Roger, installing pins."
1.8.6. Reinstall the canopy jettison pin and the lower and upper ejection handle pins.
1.8.6.1. STUDENT "Three pins installed."
1.8.6.2. IP "Roger, three pins installed."
1.8.7. After the pins have been properly installed, it is permissible to unstrap. After exiting the
taxiway into the CTW-6 line area, the student switches the UHF radio to Base, informs
Maintenance of the aircraft status, and gives Base the flight time.
1.8.7.1. STUDENT "Maintenance, 807 is in and up."
1.8.7.2. MAINTENANCE "Roger, 807."
1.8.7.3. STUDENT "Base RKT 204, back with a 1.5 feet"
1.8.7.4. BASE "Roger, 204."
1.8.8. After the IP shuts down the engines and a thumbs up is signaled from the PC, the student
secures the UHF radio and exits the aircraft. Ensure there is no loose gear or FOD left in the
aircraft.
