4.6.3.2. WING IP "Roger, knock it off, RTB."
4.6.3.3. WING STUDENT "Visual, 2.4." (if not visual, confirm IP is before making this call)
4.6.3.4. LEAD STUDENT "Lead is 2.5, switch Button 15."
4.6.4. The Lead Student directs his or her IP to descend to 7000 feet (the W155 exit altitude),
and provides an initial heading towards the applicable exit point (Beard, Starr, or Rosie for Area
1, 2, and 3, respectively). Realize it is very likely the BDHI is misaligned due to the dynamic
nature of ACM, and therefore it might be wise to reference headings off of the wet compass until
the student has the opportunity to realign the BDHI. Realize also, that although the BDHI
headings may be inaccurate, the information the TACAN is presenting is still valid even though
the BDHI may be misaligned. That is, the tail of the needle is still telling you what radial you are
actually on. Once the Lead Student feels comfortable the flight is proceeding towards the exit
point, he or she contacts Seabreeze.
4.6.4.1. LEAD "Turbo."
4.6.4.2. WING "Two."
4.6.4.3. LEAD "Seabreeze, RKT 204, RTB."
4.6.4.4. SEABREEZE "Roger RKT 204, squawk 5134, have Wingman squawk standby."
4.6.4.5. LEAD "RKT 204, squawking 5134."
4.6.4.6. SEAQBREEZE "RKT 204, radar contact, descend and maintain 7000 feet, proceed
direct Rosie."
4.6.4.7. LEAD "RKT 204, passing 9000 for 7000, direct Rosie."
4.6.5. If the flight arrives at the exit point before further clearance is received, the Lead Student
directs his or her IP to orbit until Seabreeze is able to coordinate the hand off to Pensacola
Approach.
4.6.5.1. SEABREEZE "RKT 204, Seabreeze, proceed direct NPA, contact Pensacola Approach
on 270.8."
4.6.5.2. LEAD "RKT 204, direct NPA, switching 270.8, Turbo."
4.6.5.3. WING "Two."
4.6.5.4. LEAD "Turbo." (After switching radio and confirming Wingman has by exchanging
thumbs-up)
4.6.5.5. WING "Two."
4.6.5.6. LEAD "Pensacola Approach, RKT 204, 7000, RTB, Course Rules."
4.6.6. From this point on, the flight complies with the instructions from the controllers and the
applicable Course Rules.
