913. OPERATIONAL MANEUVERABILITY
With the basics of the three-dimensional arena in which we are maneuvering understood, we will
examine the airplane and how it operates in that environment. We will define operational
maneuverability as the capability to perform changes in altitude, airspeed, and direction. Every
fighter's operational maneuverability is limited by several fixed and variable factors.
914. FIXED FACTORS
Fixed factors include the aircraft's structural limitations, thrust-to-weight limitations, and wing
loading capability.
