INSTRUMENT COMMUNICATIONS/PAR APPROACH
1.
Initial check-in:
SNFO/SWSO:
"Pensacola Approach, BUCK 713, 9000,
information DELTA, request."
APPROACH:
"BUCK 713, go ahead."
SNFO/SWSO:
"BUCK 713, request PAR, low approach,
followed by a no gyro PAR, full stop."
APPROACH:
"BUCK 713, roger. This will be vectors to a PAR
runway 25 Right, descend and maintain 1200, turn
right heading 120."
SNFO/SWSO:
"BUCK 713, leaving 9000 for 1200, right 120."
2.
Switch to discrete frequency:
APPROACH:
"BUCK 713, switch to my frequency button 10."
SNFO/SWSO:
"BUCK 713, switching button 10."
SNFO/SWSO:
"BUCK 713, 1500."
APPROACH:
"BUCK 713, roger."
3.
Turn left to base:
APPROACH:
"BUCK 713, turn left heading 340."
SNFO/SWSO:
"BUCK 713, left 340."
4.
Turn to final:
APPROACH:
"BUCK 713, turn left heading 250, stand by final
controller."
SNFO/SWSO:
"BUCK 713, left 250."
FINAL CONT:
"BUCK 713, Sherman final controller, wheels
should be down, how do you hear?"
5.
If the gear are down and locked:
SNFO/SWSO:
"BUCK 713, loud and clear, gear down and
locked, touch and go."
6.
If the gear are not down and locked, do not report them down and locked:
SNFO/SWSO:
"BUCK 713, loud and clear, standby gear, touch
and go."
