After completing the above steps and immedi-
ately prior to leaving perch, place master arm
switch to ARM position
NOTE: Heading, turn airspeed, and bank angle
are not displayed in the air-to-air mode. As you
maneuver, you can use the pitch bars for bank
angle reference.

a.
Approximately 3/4 - 1 nm abeam from bogey
b.
45 degrees aft of bogey's 3/9 line
c.
1000 ft step up
4.
When cleared by bogey, fighter will

Roll-in (Video)
a.
Overbank at MRT
b.
Place lift vector below and behind bogey
c.
Pull optimum AOA turn
5.
Low reversal

a.
Reverse when nose is on or slightly aft of bogey
aircraft
b.
Place pipper on bogey, squeeze the trigger,
and call "FOX-2"
NOTE: Remember that the aircraft will not fill
the sight reticle from the distance that you call a
FOX-2.
