Procedure

Lead: "[Call sign] check right/left [no. of

degrees]"

Wingman

(1) Acknowledge "Two"

(2) Turn to new heading and correct to combat

spread position

Question 6 -- 5.7.1.3.3.1.1

If you find yourself in a sucked position and the lead

initiates a cruise turn in your direction, what is your initial

action?

ANSWER: Use more AOB than normal and lower the nose to

increase airspeed.

Question 7 -- 5.7.1.3.3.2.1

If you find yourself in a sucked position and the lead

initiates a cruise turn away from you, what is your initial

action?

ANSWER: Use less AOB than normal and lower the nose to

increase airspeed.

Question 8 -- 5.7.1.3.3.3.1

At the end of a check turn, what should the wingman do?

ANSWER: Maneuver as necessary to combat spread.
