T-45C TS, ADV & IUT TFFP-02
b.
Problem: after turn, wingman is sucked and
wide due to improper AOB and airspeed control
Correction: lower nose and turn into lead to
achieve combat spread

Procedure away from wingman 5.7.1.3.3.2.1
WARNING: If wingman commences cruise turn
away from an acute/close position and does not
get nose behind the lead while turning for the
2000-ft window, the geometry of the wingman's
flight path will take the aircraft very close to the
lead, thus causing potential for a midair.
