TACAN and VOR Holding Procedures

NOTE: Unless a nonstandard pattern is published or
designated by the controller by stating "left turns" in the
clearance, the pattern is always standard.
NOTE: During entry and while holding, all turns are
performed at 3 degrees per second (SRT) not to exceed
30 degrees AOB.
NOTE: Commence slowing to holding speed when
within 3 minutes prior to crossing holding fix at or below
max holding speed.

T-45C procedural holding speed: 200 KIAS not to
exceed 14 units AOA

T-45C turbulence penetration airspeed is 250 KIAS.
If the situation requires an airspeed greater than 230
KIAS, request approval from ATC. Once higher
airspeeds are no longer required, report slowing to
normal holding to ATC
