and power setting for level flight at
150 KIAS
(a) Full flaps - Approximately
nose on horizon, 2,200-2,300
lbs fuel flow
(b) One-half flaps - Approximately
2-3 degrees nose up, 1,700-
1,800 lbs fuel flow
(6) Trim as required throughout the
maneuver

Scan
(1) Use level turn scan for turn to base
leg
(2) Use level speed change scan for
transition to final configuration
(3) Use level flight scan when
configuration is complete

Final approach

(2) On-speed AOA (verify with
