(1) 200 KIAS, clean
(2) Assigned altitude

Control: straight and level flight

Base leg

Procedure
(1) Maintain assigned base leg
altitude
(2) Transition to landing
configurationgear and flaps/slats
down
NOTE: 1/2 flaps may be used unless
full full stop landing planned.
(3) Perform landing checklist
(4) Maintain 150 KIAS until within
10 nm and 30 degrees of FAC,
then slow to on-speed
(5) Do not slow below 150 KIAS until
landing checklist is complete

Control
(1) Establish a 30-degree AOB turn
(2) Lower gear and flaps/slats
(3) Perform landing checklist
(4) Correct nose attitude for resultant
lift change from flaps/slats
