Familiarization Flight Procedures
MOTIVATION
The conclusion to a well-flown flight is a perfect approach
and landing. In order to perform these maneuvers skill-
fully, you must fully comprehend the entire landing
scenario.
The pattern, if flown correctly, leads to a good "start"
position in "the groove." A good start position will lead to
a good pass.
Good, consistent passes will lead to a successful carrier
qualification, and that earns you the designation of "car-
rier pilot."
