ON/OFF switch
(1) Purpose: applies power and recycles (no warm boot)
(2) Operating characteristics: controls the projection of data
on the PDU

DAY/AUTO switch
(1) Purpose: controls brightness settings
(2) Operating characteristics
(a) DAY: brightness controlled manually by BRT knob
(b) AUTO: brightness automatically controlled by sensor,
brighter against light background (e.g., sky), dimmer
against dark background (e.g., ground)
