Dash-2, Dash-3, Dash-4: fly slightly stepped up on the
aircraft ahead
(1) Nose-to-tail distance of 1000 ft
h.
Lead: after 15 seconds, begin rendezvous turn of 30 degrees

Dash-2, Dash-3, Dash-4: turn to intercept bearing as soon as
aircraft ahead is 10-20 degrees off centerline (out of the HUD
glass)
