(1) Depicts 360 degrees of pitch and
roll and indicates yaw
(2) Presents compass heading on
azimuth scale around horizon line

(3) Three warning flags
(a) With an instrument landing
selected, GS flag indicates
unreliable glideslope signal
LOC flag indicates unreliable
localizer information
(c) OFF flag indicates any of
following: power failure to
ADI, fault occurs in ADI servo
hoops, invalid information
from SAHRS/NGS or a failure
of internal power supply
NOTE: It is possible to have
an ADI failure without an OFF
flag.
(4) Glideslope and localizer deviation
bars bias into view for ILS/localizer
approach
(5) Turn and slip indicator below
sphere
(a) Used for rate turns
(b) Indicates balanced flight
