ANSWER:
1. The SAHRS/NGS consists of the following major
components: the strapdown sensor assembly
(located on the center console in the FWD cockpit
only).

The SAHRS/NGS provides pitch, roll, and heading
information to the ADI, HSI, HUD, ADR, and CAS.
Heading information is also provided to the
VOR/ILS/MB.

Standard attitude heading reference system
(SAHRS)/Navigational Guidance System
(NGS) provides all attitude information to
the main attitude indicator (ADI) and
magnetic compass heading to the
horizontal situation indicator (HSI)
