LECTURE NOTE
Emphasize that the VCR unit has had a history of
excessive failure, (+ 60% per year). The vast majority
of failures to the SVM are directly attributable to
improper procedure being employed when removing
and installing cassette tape cartridges. It is very easy
to seriously damage the videocassette recorder by
improperly removing the cassette from the unit. Proper
procedure and care must be used at all times.
