(1) Turns set ON or OFF (when OFF,

System BIT: Generates false altitude
signal, pointer should indicate 100
+/- 10 ft, causes green test light to
illuminate if test is successful, and
causes low altitude warning (red light
and tone) if bug (index marker) is set
to an altitude higher than pointer
indicates prior to test sequence
c.
Low altitude warning light: red light
illuminates when below preset altitude
d.
Self-test indicator: green light
illuminates when self-test is good
e.
OFF flag: visible when signal strength
becomes inadequate, power is lost,
system is turned off or pitch
