approach plate, is not advisable when failure occurs inside the FAF.
NOTE: Normal range of reliable LOC reception is 18 nm.

1. In event of ILS glideslope failure, what are your best options?
ANSWER: Discuss downgrade vs. switching to another approach.
2. What should you do in the event of an ILS LOC failure?
ANSWER: Discuss options depending on location in approach at time of failure.
