a.
I4301 and I4302 may be flown in any order.
b. Flights in this block should consist of a minimum of
three approaches and holding or point-to-point navigation.
c. IUT shall call the SI the night prior to I4302 for route
of flight details.
d. I4302 is intended to leave the local area. Therefore,
it should originate or terminate at an airfield other than South
Whiting to the maximum extent possible.
e. I4302 or I4490 should be flown in conjunction with N4201
to emphasize cross-country procedures.

Organization of SMA I4401-I4404 flights; SMA I4590 brief;
weather sources, briefs (DD 175-1), weather briefing system;
WW, CAWW, convective SIGMET, SIGMET, AIRMET; NDZ stereotype
flight plans; equipment lost with essential No. 2 bus
control panel.
