(2) The SI was unable to sample sufficient examples of a
given maneuver to assess the IUT's overall performance.
NOTE: The subsequent flight need only include maneuvers
required to complete the check.
(3) Exceptions. The check is complete and the overall
grade is unsatisfactory if:
(a) Any critical item is below MIF, or
(b) More than two noncritical items were graded F/3
where G/4 is required, or
(c) Any maneuver is U/2.

Special Instructions and Restrictions
a. Schedule limitations for IUTs will be left to the
discretion of the ITU or cognizant squadron, but consistent with
the provisions of OPNAVINST 3710.7T.
b. All IUT flights will be conducted in accordance with the
current T-34C NATOPS, FTI, and local SOP. No deviations from
standard maneuvers are authorized except in cases of emergency.
c. Completion of the NATOPS stage as described in this
instruction meets the NATOPS qualification requirements for the
T-34C aircraft.
