MODULE 01
ACADEMICS
OBJECTIVE: To provide the IUT with a comprehensive academic base
of knowledge in: T-45A systems (Engineering); T-45A specific
Aerodynamics (AERO); Instrument Navigation (INAV), Aircrew
Coordination Training (ACT) and Course Rules (CR) in preparation
for receiving jet transition and strike instructor flight
training in the T-45A Jet Transition Strike Flight Instructor
Training Curriculum.
Academic lessons include Engineering (ENG-01 through 28X),
Aerodynamics (AERO-01 through 07), and Instrument Navigation
(INAV-01). Flight support lessons include Course Rules (CR-01),
Aircrew Coordination Training (ACT-01),and NACES lecture (SEAT-
01).
NOTE 1:
ACT-01 and SEAT-01 should be completed prior to CO-02S.
NOTE 2:
Academic and flight support examinations are normally
taken in the Learning Center. CAI administered
examinations may require materials such as: examination
booklets, video materials, NATOPS, etc. Check the
examination booklet to ensure that all required
materials are available prior to logging on CAI for the
examination. Read the examination instructions
carefully. Contact the instructor or Learning Center
monitor if problems are encountered.
