MODULE 9
T-45A TO T-45C TRANSITION
OBJECTIVE: To provide a NATOPS qualification in the T-45C for
designated T-45A Instructor Pilots.

Note 2: Completion of Module 00 and Module 01 (Basic IUT) in the
T-45A are required prior to transition to the T-45C for IP's with
previous fleet glass cockpit experience.
Note 3: Completion of Module 00 and Module 01 (Basic IUT) and a
total of 150 hours in the T-45A are required prior to transition
to the T-45C for IP's with no previous fleet glass cockpit
experience.
Note 4: T-45A designated IP's with previous fleet glass cockpit
experience shall complete NA-16 in lieu of CO-5S, CO-6S, and NA-
15S. NA-23SX is only required if a T-45C OFT is available on
site.
Note 5: T-45C qualified pilots can perform all syllabus overhead
flights (FORM, NFORM, WEPS, GUNS, ONAV, TACF/ACM, and CQ LEAD
SAFE).
Note 6: All pilots require 10 hours of First Pilot (FP) time,
including 1 hour of night time, prior to completion of NA-24X.
Note 7: Prior to initial T-45C carrier qualification, pilots
must complete a minimum of 1 CQ simulator and 4 FCLP periods.
