MODULE 08
T-45A STUDENT NAVAL FLIGHT OFFICER INSTRUCTOR TRAINING
OBJECTIVE: To provide squadron designated T-45A instructor
pilots with the necessary instructional methodology, techniques,
and information to instruct in the T-45A Student Naval Flight
Officer (SNFO) Advanced Tactical Maneuvering (ATM) Curriculum.
NOTE 1:
This syllabus consists of three "substages":
Familiarization and Formation (FAM/FORMFP); Tactical
Low-Level (TLL) and Advanced Tactical Maneuvering
(ATM). It is not a requirement that an IP be qualified
in all substages, only in those stages in which
instruction will be given.
NOTE 2:
IUT lectures will be given by "S" qualified
instructors.
NOTE 3:
Examinations are pencil/paper examinations.
Examinations may require materials such as:
examination booklets, video materials, NATOPS, etc.
Check the examination booklet to ensure that all
required materials are available prior to beginning the
examination. Read the examination instructions
carefully. If you have problems contact the
instructor.
