I. Air-to-Ground Weapons.
After this stage, the student will be
able to:
(1) Control the aircraft in the execution of 30-degree and
10-degree delivery patterns as member of a multi-plane flight.
(2) Manage weapon system, communication, mutual support.
(3) Demonstrate flight leadership tasks in a dynamic multi-
plane exercise while achieving prescribed weapon delivery
accuracy's, as solo during day VMC.
J. Tactical Formation.
After this stage, the student will be
able to:
(1) Control the aircraft in execution of combat spread and
"loose deuce" (non-engaged) formation maneuvers as solo in day
VMC.
(2) Integrate communication (voice and visual), look-out,
mutual support, navigation, and leadership tasks without
compromising aircraft control.
K. Night Formation.
After this stage, the student will be able
to:
(1) Control the aircraft during basic, section formation
maneuvers, and landing approaches as solo pilot during night VMC.
(2) Perform night air-to-air rendezvous.
L. Air-to-Air Gunnery. (NOT APPLICABLE TO THIS CURRICULUM)
After this stage, the student will be able to:
(1) Maneuver the aircraft through all parameters of the high
side air-to-air gunnery pattern.
(2) Maintain proper positioning relative to other pattern
flight members.
(3) Demonstrate ability to integrate communication, mutual
support, and flight leadership tasks in a dynamic, three-
dimensional maneuvering exercise, solo without compromising
aircraft control and safety.
M. Air Combat Maneuvering.
After this stage, the student will
be able to:
(1) Demonstrate a basic knowledge of energy management,
maneuverability, and loose deuce tactics.
