(3) Specific comments on above average (AA), below
average (BA) and unsatisfactory (UNSAT) performance. Discussion
should focus on causes, as well as effects of performance.
c. Designated Flight Leader. For all multi-plane flights
involving two or more flight instructors, the designated flight
leader will be responsible for compliance with OPNAVINST 3710.7R
and with the provisions of each paragraph above. In all
appropriate cases, the designated instructor shall retain the
formation leader status as defined by OPNAVINST 3710.7R
paragraphs 3.5.2 and 3.5.4.
3.
Schedule Limitations
a.
The student's working day from first scheduled event to
completion of the last event shall not exceed 12 hours.
b. A minimum of 12 hours shall elapse between the student's
last completed event and the first event of the following day.
c. The student's maximum work week is 6 days followed by 1
day off. Wing Commanders may waive this requirement on an
individual basis within the guidelines set forth in OPNAVINST
3710.7R.
d. Students will be limited to 2 events (flight/simulator)
per day.
e. All night flights shall takeoff no earlier than 15
minutes after official sunset.
4. Standardization. All flights outlined within this curriculum
shall be conducted in accordance with the current T-2C NATOPS
Flight Manual and CNATRA Flight Training Instructions (FTI).
5. Solo Restrictions. All solo flights shall be conducted in
accordance with the current T-2C NATOPS Flight Manual and in
accordance with the CNATRA Flight Training Instructions (FTI).
6.
Administration
a.
Aviation Training Forms (ATF)
(1) A CNATRA ATF shall be completed for each curriculum
flight or simulator. All items graded unsatisfactory, below
average or above average shall be commented upon in the remarks
section. All ATFs require a general comment.
(2) ATFs shall be completed on the same day the flight or
simulator is flown.
