Flight Control System
(1) Location: adjacent to stabilator trim
actuators
(2) Function: acts in conjunction with inertia
weights and two viscous dampers to pro-
vide the pilot with artificial "feel" of aero-
dynamic forces acting on control surfaces

Speedbrake interconnect actuator
(1) Location: stabilator control box, forward of
PCU
(2) Function: Sends speedbrake position
signals to yaw damper controller. Receives
input signals from yaw damper controller
and moves stabilator to counter pitch
transients due to speedbrake extension/
retraction
