Hook Operation
mechanically controls toggle mechanism, which
releases uplatch and closes selector valve that
releases hydraulic pressure holding hook in up
position

Extends in approximately 1-1/2 seconds
c.
Extension accomplished by gravity free-fall,
assisted by nitrogen pressure in actuator/
damper (hook snubber) assembly
