Ejection Initiation
Event Sequence
(1) In cockpit: pull ejection handle
(2) Gas travels from right seat firing cartridge
to lower quick-disconnect and to gas-to-
SMDC initiator
(3) SMDC ignites, passing signal to sequencer,
selector, and fwd or aft seat

Gas-to-SMDC
NOTE: If BOTH selected on selector,
