the card. Lead Student is responsible for a completing DD-175 or for filing the appropriate
stereo route. Students are responsible for their own LL charts. Have a divert chart prepared
(ONC), and a jet card.

the weather, questions of the day and Z diagram.
3.1.4. Bring to the brief:
3.1.4.1. ATJ
3.1.4.2. T-2C briefing guide
3.1.4.3. Two models
3.1.5. Lead Student will be prepared to brief the hop.

Base Ops, the WX brief updated, and a PPR is obtained (if required).
3.2.2. Both students walk early to read the ADB, suit up and preflight.
3.3. START
3.3.1. Man up and start are the same as in FAM.

the Lead Student switches to Base frequency and checks in the Wingman. Lead passes the
clearance to the Wingman, switches the flight to Ground frequency and notifies Base
"Outbound." This is done after both aircraft have completed final checks (note Wingman's hand
position). It is not necessary to read the entire clearance unless it is something other than what is
expected.
3.3.4. After obtaining ATIS, Wing student switches to Base frequency and waits for Lead to pass
the clearance.
3.3.4.1. LEAD "Turbo."
3.3.4.2. WING "Two."
3.3.4.3. LEAD "Turbo, cleared as filed, squawk ____, no questions Button 3."
3.3.4.4. WING "Two." (If no questions)
