11. Provide the pilot guidance to track inbound on the FAC. Utilize the CDI and bearing
pointer to note deviations from the desired course.
NOTE
There are essentially two kinds of approach procedures that may be
required at this point. One type uses a radio facility and FAF that
is not located at the field (Figure 5-9). The other type has no FAF,
and the radio facility Missed Approach Point is located at the field
(Figure 5-10).
