45/180 MANEUVER PROCEDURE

Another method that may be used to accomplish the procedure turn approach is the 45/180-

degree course reversal maneuver. To properly execute this maneuver, both the outbound track

and inbound course should be intercepted as soon as possible.

The following procedures assume clearance for the DAYTONA BEACH REGIONAL VOR

RWY 16 approach (Figure 5-9) has been received and you are proceeding to the IAF:
