Direct the pilot to turn to heading in Figure 4-9. When rolled out onto this heading,
the line connecting the two fixes should be vertical (Figure 4-10). This line
represents your desired track.

8. Update heading continuously while enroute to refine your solution and correct for winds.
Apply any known wind drift correction. After applying wind drift, your desired course will no
longer be a vertical line on the EHSI. Instruct the pilot to turn to this updated heading.
