T-6A FORMATION
416. FORMATION SEQUENCE OVERVIEW
Formation Sequence. Once established in the working area the formation sequence may be
commenced. Both the Lead and the Wingman are responsible for completing the following
maneuvers.
FORM 5001 Formation Sequence
1.
Fuel check
2.  Anti-G straining maneuver (2 x 180 turns from cruise position) (2 - 3 Gs first, 3 - 4 Gs
second)
3.
Parade turns (into and away)
4.
Wingman crossunder
5.
Parade turns (into and away)
6.
Lost sight exercise and rendezvous (anytime during parade turns)
7.
One normal break up and rendezvous
8.
One break up and rendezvous to a planned underrun 180 KIAS
9.
Tail chase
10. Lead change
11. Repeat sequence
