SUMMARY
One of the drawbacks of low-level flight is the increased fuel consumption. As a result, fuel
planning is of increased importance. Computations must be accurate or "BINGO" may come
unexpectedly soon! Divert and alternate planning is also critical as errors under adverse
conditions can be fatal!
Other "paperwork" also requires attention to detail and accuracy. The DD 175 is the flight plan
filed and flown, deviations can be hazardous to both one's health and career. For this reason, a
DD 175 is required for each of your Navigation flights, even though a stereo route is used.
