Figure 1-11 Populated Areas
The shape of Lufkin, as shown in Figure 1-11, relates to its area of vertical development, and not
to its visible outline.
Remember, prior to actually flying over a town you cannot determine how the town will actually
appear. Do not be surprised if the town is much smaller or larger than you expected after looking
at the chart. This holds especially true for small towns, which could be anything from one store
and two houses to 100 or more buildings.
