T-6A CONTACT
In addition to the normal flight equipment required for day flight operations, all aircrews on night
flights require an operational flashlight and clear visor.
NOTE
Review the operation of aircraft interior and exterior lighting in the
T-6A NATOPS.

PREFLIGHT PROCEDURES
The night preflight will include all items checked on day preflights with the following additions:
1.
Check the operation of all interior lights in both cockpits during the cockpit check
2.
With the battery on, complete a check of all exterior lights. Conduct a walk-around of the
aircraft to ensure operation of all exterior lights. Ensure any discrepancies are corrected prior to
flight.
