Format/Procedure deviation (on deck or airborne) is not average.
4. The average student may be slow with procedures and will be inaccurate at judging
distances.

The flight will stress the basics: format and procedures, clock, chart, ground, etc.

Student will brief hop in its entirety.
2.
The next low-level hop is the student's check ride.
3.
A "longer noose" is given to the student.
4.
No basic format or procedures errors are permitted.
5.
Deviations permitted here will only hurt the student on the check ride, where little direct
assistance is given.
6.
Student's distance estimates errors shall always be corrected.

1.
The student briefs the hop in its entirety including all standards.
2.
The student should meet the standards with little or no direct assistance.
3.
This is still a training hop, so the INFO/INAV may still instruct.
