| CHAPTER SEVEN
ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL SYSTEMS
700. INTRODUCTION
This chapter discusses the environmental control systems installed on the aircraft. The
information is designed to provide you with an understanding of these systems to aid in
understanding operating procedures and limitations.
701. ENABLING OBJECTIVE
Recall the basic description, related systems, and function of the aircraft environmental control
systems.
702. ENABLING STEPS
1.
State the function of the pneumatic power supply system.
2.
List the systems requiring bleed air.
3.
State regulated bleed air pressures.
4.
Recall instrument locations.
5.
Recall procedures and limitations for setting the cabin pressurization controller.
6.
List the limitations and procedures for operation of the manual pressurization controller.
7.
State the conditions necessary for illumination of the CAB PRESS LO annunciator.
8.
State the conditions necessary for illumination of the CAB PRESS HI annunciator.
703. PNEUMATIC POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM
The pneumatic system transports and modifies engine bleed air. The systems requiring bleed air
are:
1.
Engine inlet anti-ice
2.
Wing anti-ice and shutoff valve
3.
Hydraulic reservoir pressurization
4.
Entrance door seal inflation
