ENABLING OBJECTIVES

The student will:

5.1 Recall the systems which receive hydraulic fluid from the utility hydraulic system.

5.2 Recall the location of the utility hydraulic reservoir.

5.3 Recall the location of the return line filter.

5.4 Recall the hydraulic pressure indication limits.

5.5 Recall the proper gearstrut extension limitations.

5.6 Recall the minimum shimmydamper pin extension.

5.7 Recall how the landing gear is controlled.

5.8 Name the component which locks the landing gear handle in the down position on the

ground.

5.9 State how the landing gear is lowered in case of a selector valve malfunction.

5.10 Recall how the arresting hook snubber preflight is checked on preflight.
