4.0 TERMINAL OBJECTIVE: Recall the component location and operation of the T2C
Power Plants and Related Systems in accordance with applicable publications without
instructional aids.
ENABLING OBJECTIVES
4.1 State how many and what type engines are used in the T2
4.2 Recall the military rated thrust of each engine.
4.3 Recall the primary oil used in the T2 engines.
4.4 State how the engine oil is checked.
4.5 Recall the unit of measurement used by the RPM gage and Dower source for the RPM
gages.
4.6 Recall how many fuel gages are used and the unit of measurement.
4.7 State the purpose of the PT5 gage.
4.8 Recall the purpose of the power control idle stop.
4.9 State the location of the engine master switches.
4.10 Name the components to which the engine master switches supply power.
4.11 State the function, location, and normal position of the start switches.
4.12 Recall which boost Dump is operating when, prior to start, the voltmeters fluctuate.
4.13 State the time limitation for RPM and oil pressure upon initiation of start cycle.
4.14 State minimum and desired RPM range the engine should obtain prior to advancing the
throttle to the idle detent during start.
4.15 Recall the maximum allowable EGT during start.
4.16 State the maximum allowable fuel flow during start.
