SNFO/SWSO VOICE COMMUNICATIONS
CHAPTER TWO
Example (having just landed on 25 Right):
TOWER:
"BUCK 710, left off when able, hold short 25
Left."
SNFO/SWSO:
"BUCK 710, hold short 25 Left."
Or if Tower says nothing:
SNFO/SWSO:
"BUCK 710 to cross the Left."
TOWER:
"BUCK 710, cross runway 25 Left, contact
Ground when clear."
SNFO/SWSO:
"BUCK 710 crossing 25 Left, wilco."
211. GROUND
When clear of all duty runways, switch to ground. It is required to report clear of the duty
runway and request taxi clearance back to the VT-10/VT-4 line or to the transient line if at
another field.
Example
SNFO/SWSO:
"Sherman Ground, BUCK 710, clear of the duty,
taxi to my line."
GROUND:
"BUCK 710, taxi to your line."
SNFO/SWSO:
"BUCK 710, wilco."
212. BASE
1.  As you exit the taxiway and enter the T-34/T-6 line area, switch to base frequency and call
the CDO and report the aircraft status (not student status) as up or down.
Example
SNFO/SWSO:
"BASE, BUCK 710, in and up."(or "in and
down.")
BASE:
"BUCK 710, roger."
2.  Prior to shutdown, switch back to ground control frequency in case of an emergency on
shutdown.
