The aircraft pictured below are flying outbound from the station on the 270 R and 180 R,
respectively. Their courses are 270 and 180. (See Figure 3).

The course an aircraft flies inbound to the station is the reciprocal of that radial along which
it is flying. In Figure 4, aircraft A is on the 090 radial; however, its course is 270. Aircraft B is
flying a course of 180 and is on the 360 radial.
