|  AIRSPEED
Airspeed is defined as the speed of an aircraft relative to the air, or the earth's surface.
Airspeed is obtained by means of a pitot-static system on the aircraft. Differences in
pressure caused by the aircraft movement are measured by the system and displayed on a
cockpit airspeed indicator.
