horizontal or vertical overshoots
(2) Maneuver 2: fighter begins vertical move
early to pass bandit head-on on top
(a) Advantage: generates 180-degree,
close-aboard pass for subsequent
disengagement
(b) Disadvantage: causes fighter to lose
offensive advantage
