Display System (HUD)
SUMMARY
There is a lot of information presented on the HUD
display. Knowing what is available and how to interpret
the information will help you perform maneuvers with
precision.
To avoid HUD fixation, maintain a good outside and
inside scan.
The HUD shall not be used as a primary flight instrument.
CONCLUSION
Knowing the HUD operation and recognizing the
significance of cockpit indications are essential to aircraft
control and mission completion. Knowledge of the
aircraft, its systems, normal operation, and malfunctions
is imperative to safe operation.
