Use a maximum RPM of 70% to start
movement

Idle will yield taxi speeds that must be
controlled by periodic braking

Taxi speeds:

Walking speed in the line

Running speed on taxiways

If in doubt... STOP!

Pull into hold short at a 45-degree angle to
runway (point at RDO shack)

Check Xponder ON when
you switch to Departure.

Raise gear when safely airborne,

Complete checklists before tower call

Look at wind sock

Check up and locked by 200 KIAS,

Align the aircraft on runway centerline
climb out at 250 KIAS

Hold brakes, select MRT, wipe out controls

With IP concurrence, release brakes
CAUTION:

Make small NWS inputs if required
Landing gear and flaps/slats should

Aileron into the wind
be fully retracted before reaching

Rotate to 17 units @ 120 KIAS
limit speed of 200 knots.
CAUTION:
The gear uplock mechanism can be
overridden with 20-50 lbs of force
applied to the gear handle
