internal bypass valve opens.
NOTE: Indicator occasionally
pops out due to pressure
fluctuations or g forces
encountered during hard
landings.

fluid in HYD 2 reservoir
(b) Quantity will vary according to
temperature of fluid and
pressure in system
(c) Calibrated 0 to 340 cubic
inches in 10 cubic-inch
increments and labeled every
100 cubic inches

HYD 2 EDP output pressure falls below
1,660 +/- 110 psi

If HYD 2 EDP output pressure drops
below 1,660 +/- 110 psi for any reason
(pump failure, excessive demand,
engine flameout, or leak in the
HYDRAULIC SYSTEM BLOCK
system), pressure switch sends a
DIAGRAM
signal to CWS
(1) MSTR ALERT light flashes
(2) HYD 2 PRESS caution light illumi-
nates and caution tone sounds
