result in severe eye injury.
Do not use the MDC firing handle or
MDC FIRING HANDLES
initiator cover as a handhold.
NOTE: There is no device to prevent firing
of the MDC with the canopy in the open
position.

hand canopy edge
NOTE: The handles are color-coded
in yellow and black stripes and secured
with a red safety pin during ground
operations.

Function: initiates firing of MDC to
