malfunctions index to designated CRT,
allowing direct access to 20 most-used
emergencies
(5) MALFUNCTION OVERRIDE: deletes all
malfunctions and restores all
malfunctioning aircraft systems to normal
(6) CATAPULT TENSION: sets simulator in
tension for catapult launch aboard carrier
(7) CATAPULT LAUNCH: fires catapult, with
sound
(8) CRASH OVERRIDE: permits simulator to
fly through crash conditions and limits of
airspeed/g-force, allowing event to continue
without simulator going to freeze mode
(9) RESET CONDITIONS: causes trainer to
reinitialize at last selected IC (Initial
Condition) set, allowing restart at specified
position
(10) PREVIOUS DISPLAY FAMILY: summons
last page used on the selected CRT
(11) OWNSHIP CENTER: centers on cross-
country or MOA displays
