FLIGHT PROCEDURES
TAKEOFF/DEPARTURE
The lead requests takeoff for the section. When cleared by the tower, the lead taxis onto the
runway taking the left or downwind side for section or interval takeoff, allowing sufficient distance
for the wingman to line up in the middle of the opposite side of the runway and on the bearing line,
as in Figure 13.
